Australian's tend to love their booze, The Phantom and has a soft spot for their closest neighbour in Papua New Guinea so what better way to merge the three into one?

Looks like maybe those pesky IT guys at the Singh Pirates have caused another disturbance.

Wine Description

Deep crimson in colour, with vibrant black-olives, spiced-cedar, cloves and fresh blackcurrant aromas. A refined and focused palate, displaying complex brooding characters, with a rounded and fleshy mid-palate. A wine with lovely structural tannins, which will mature gracefully for many years to come.

On the palate, it’s full of berry flavours, very soft tannins and acid. It’s easy drinking yet complex.

For Those Who Have Come In Late. As the legend goes, Papua New Guinea was first introduced to the Phantom during the second world war by American troops.

The comics had a setting and subject matter that mirrored the country’s environment, setting them apart from the other superhero books available to the people there. The Phantom was of the Jungle, and spiritual like the people of the Highlands.

If the history on the Phantom with the country and their war shields interest you, we would suggest the fascinating book by Chris Boylan, his presentation which you can find below and the website curated by Ohm Roy who tracks related information on them.
