The Phantom is making a splash in Germany with not one but two recent comic magazines reporting on the Phantom. This magazine is released in January 2023.
We have already reported on the Zack Magazine Issue 12/2022 featuring an article on Team Fantomen writer Bernd Frenz. However the magazine Die Sprechblase has also announced their Junuary 2023 monthly magazine which will even feature the Phantom on the cover.
The cover design is by Fantomen cover artist Henrik Salhstrom. This cover was first published by Fantomen 21/2019 and the cover won the 2019 best Fantomen cover of the year as voted by you, the phans.
Die Sprechblase is a Germany comics themed magazine which started in 1977 by German publisher Norbert Hethke Verlag.
Featured in this magazine will be an article on the history of the character.
