Review of Wick Publications #6

Writer's picture: Christian MöllerChristian Möller

Christian Moller reviews Wick Publications #6 which features the following stories:

  • "Die Uranfalle" ("The River Pirates of Sambesi") by Peter Mennigen and José María Ortiz Tafalla

The "Die Uranfalle" ("The River Pirates of Sambesi") story has been published before in Phantom Spezial #37 (1981).

A great cover by Ertuğrul Edirne who is a Turkish cover artist currently living in Germany. These covers originally featured on the Büyülü Çizgi Roman Turkish series.

Please note that the print run is smaller than most comic of only 700 copies. Due to this, the comics can be hard to find and are basically sold out as they go to print, we would suggest to contact the publisher directly, you can contact Ulrich Wick via his website.

News that will please many phans who are missing out is that these stories may be seen in other publications. Keep an eye on the Chronicle Chamber platform for more on that soon.

This issue is in colour with it originally produced for colour in the Phantom Spezial #37 (1981) comic. These colours have been digitally remastered by Stefan Neuwinger.
