The "Der Piratenfreund" ("The Pirate Friend") was originally published in Bastei issues #230. The second story "Die Sensationsreportage" ("The Sensational Reportage") has never been published before.
A great cover by Ertuğrul Edirne who is a Turkish cover artist currently living in Germany. These covers originally featured on the Büyülü Çizgi Roman Turkish series.
Some highlights of this publication series are the paper and print quality. The print run is smaller than most comic of only 700 copies. Due to this, the comics can be hard to find and are basically sold out as they go to print, we would suggest to contact the publisher directly, you can contact Ulrich Wick via his website.
There is an error on page 7 which slipped through production and quality checking. These stories may be seen in other publications. Keep an eye on the Chronicle Chamber platform for more on that soon. This issue starts an interview with author Peter Mennigen and issue #6 will feature the second half. We will try and get permission to translate and re-publish on our platform also.
