Review of Kult Comics Mitton Stories Collection TPB 2

Writer: Christian MöllerChristian Möller

Christian Moller reviews a hardcover and softcover collection on famous French Artist Jean-Yves Mitton published by Kult Comics. This is the second volume and was released in June 2024, these collections feature the following stories:

  • "Das Geheimnis der Kathedrale" ("The Cathedral Mystery") by Scott Goodall and Jean-Yves Mitton

  • "Tod in Brügge" ("Death in Belgium") by Donne Avenell and Jean-Yves Mitton

  • "Hoogans Rache" ("Hoogan's Revenge") by Lennart Moberg and Jean-Yves Mitton

  • "Das Geheimnis der Statue" ("Marsh of the Endless Wind") by Scott Goodall and Jean-Yves Mitton

The hardcover limited edition only has 99 copies and includes two bookplates (prints) by Jean-Yves Mitton and Geier. This collection also includes a 10 page article about Jean-Yves Mitton by Bernd Frenz. These books are top quality. The hardcover edition also includes two 'bookplates' like the first volume.

The hardcover edition was sold out before it was actually released which is amazing. The softcover is still available to be purchased and can be purchased at their website. Even if you can only afford the softcover, you will still enjoy the same print and reproduction quality.

In my opinion, the "Das Geheimnis der Kathedrale" ("The Cathedral Mystery") by Scott Goodall and Jean-Yves Mitton is my most favourite story from this book.
