Gorgeous Cover by Luca Erbetta for 'Heart of Darkness' HC Collection Revealed

The Phantom community is abuzz this weekend as the cover for the anticipated 'Heart of Darkness' hardcover collection by fan phav cover artist Luca Erbetta has been released.


When we first broke the news of this collection back in April, we believed it was a softcover but we can confirm it is a HARDCOVER collection which will excite even more phans.


Some details of the hardcover collection is still unknown like if its in black and white or colour and the final page count but what we do know is:

  • Its a Hardcover collection

  • At least 390 pages long

  • It will be collectable

  • Cover design by Luca Erbetta

  • Released 1 August 2022

  • Printed in Swedish

Some filtered news is that this wont be a standard hardcover collection and it may include some extras to make it even more desirable.

"The Heart of Darkness" is a long story comprising off 390 pages and was originally released as an ongoing back up story for the Fantomen comic between 1994 and 1996. It was written by Claes Reimerthi and drawn by Joan Boix. The story features the Phantom facing several supernatural elements. It was then reprinted in Fantomen krönikan in a more collected form that span 4 full issues with an added new story.
