Jean Yves Mitton is one of the most famous modern day French / European artists and while he only drawing a handful of Phantom stories nearly 3 decades ago they are still being regularly republished now.
The company Editions Black and White have a reputation of producing top quality hardcover collections of popular comics and now its their turn to do justice to the Phantom and Mitton's amazing work. Included in the book are various commission sketches and scans of the original artwork which will appeal to some.

The art was sourced from the original art itself printed on Munken paper, slightly dyed for a velvety look and feel. The format is 24.5 x 31.5cm in black and white and will cost 75 euros ($115AU, $80US & 800kr).
The book will be sold on their website in June and an early preview will be at a comic convention late May. If you are a phan of Mitton and beautiful hardcover collections this will be a must. Are you getting one?
