During the Uppsala Comix Convention Fantomen editor Andreas Eriksson talked about the Hardcover album, the ongoing softcover series this year featuring Prince Rex and a new book titled "Ghost Who Walks". This book will be reprinting classic Daily and Sunday USA newspaper stories that will carry a loose theme about the mythology of the Phantom aka The Ghost Who Walks.
While some of the details of this third release is still a secret, some details have been announced along with the pre order links and the cover. The book will be released towards the end of 2024 in time for Christmas and the book will be printed with a hardcover.
The cover originally painted by Rolf Gohs was originally first used for the cover of Fantomen 21/1984. This album will be the seventh time it has been used. It is a classic and beautifully captures the legacy of the Ghost Who Walks.
Two stories we can confirm will be included are "The Kimberly Diamonds" created by Lee Falk and Sy Barry and "The Gibs Brothers" by Lee Falk and Wilson McCoy. "The Gibs Brothers" is the shortest Phantom Sunday story ever made.
