Just a general 'wazzup' thread.

Started my Graduate Certificate of Brewing course. Heaps of fun! I'm doing it as an external student, so I watch the lectures online (there's HEAPS of interactivity, the lectures are catered to the fact everyone's on their computer) plus there's online assessments and graded online discussion. The science is dense, but I went into the course expecting that, so there's no biggie there.

I'm also putting my hand up to be involved in all sorts of stuff, like helping a pro brewing comp and a beer festival. Things are getting interesting.

My girlfriend and I have just put the deposit down on our first rental property. We'll be moving in next weekend and it's all terribly exciting. It means that I'll have a longer drive to work, but it'll be worth it to be finally our of home after coming back during Uni. Woot!

Well, the move is done and pretty much all the furniture is in (only my desk left). Now to organise everything...

Emma and I just got two cats, two little orange tabbys (well, not so little). They are veeeeery cute but rather shy at the moment. Hopefully in a few days they'll be more comfortable. We've named them Tigger and Theo. ^_^

Stuff I'm doing? Joining the CC community again, after a looooooooong period of radio silence.

I'm an increasingly busy man with a pretty demanding job (while always applying for new ones that I'll like even more) as a social worker, also trying to write as much as possible with the hope of one day being good enough to fulfill my dream of being a published author. After spending an enormous amount of time participating in a big Norwegian short story contest (which I certainly didn't win, AAAAARGH) I've been kind of burnt out on writing anything, leaving the CC boards very low on my to-do list, I'm ashamed to say.

But now I'm back, also with a new article for the main site to be published as soon as I can get over my technophobia and learn how to put it up on the site myself.

We have another house inspection soon so today Kim and I got out into the garden and did what we could to tidy it up. I hate gardening. I'm not built for it.

Just got out of hospital last saturday afternoon, went in on thursday for a total hip replacement, every one keeps on telling me that I'm in pain but I'm glad that I can't feel it , all I can feel is a bit of muscle ache, was expecting all sorts of pains and restrictions in movement.
