Real good news.
I listen to this wonderful score a lot, it's especially great when driving any great distance, where I'll listen to it several times in a row.
An extra thirty minutes and the suburb 'Phantom on the Skull Throne' image deleted from the '96 movie makes this one a must.

All excited to buy this today...when I realized that the US lives in the past so the 19th for them isn't until tomorrow.

Thanks, Vivek, for bringing the Phantom soundtrack reissue info to the forum. lalaland records certainly was not on my radar and I and other's might have missed the opportunity to order one of the 3000 available disks.
I ordered today, missed the autograph, but will be just as happy just to have access to the extended score.

When the movie was coming out, I was 15 years old. For a couple of years, I had been trading Phantom stuff with an American collector, who had supplied me with some awesome stuff already - including a copy of an early version of the movie script! Then, one day I received a cassette tape from him, with the score of the film. Not caring about spoilers, I sat down and read the script while listening to the tape. This was several months before the film was released in Sweden, so for a long time this was the film to me. The score really was very good, so I kept listening to it over and over and soon knew it by heart. I'm really looking forward to getting this new release of the score, thanks for posting all info here!

I received my copy yesterday.
It sounds great, the bonus tracks are terrific - the liner notes are extensive, detailing both the making of the 96' film, with commentary on every track by Jeff Bond of Geek Monthly and plenty of input from David Newman. :)
